Author's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to comment; I do plan on a sequel. I don't know much about Russia and have started doing research this summer. I can't say exactly when I'll have the sequel going though, but there will be one.

awesome story! realy cant wait for the sequel! yassen/alex is the best and this is definitely one of the better interpretations!

This story was amazing. I was so glad it was updated, but then I saw it was complete. I hope there's a sequel, and more Yassen/Alex.

OMG! I was simultaneously excited and sad when I saw there had been an update: excited coz we would finally know what happened, but sad because the story was over. But the ending!! WOW!!! You have to say you are doing a sequel - please!

btw, are you on fanfiction? and also in the warnings for this part 11 it says 'this part has explicit m/m sex' I'm dissapointed coz there was no hot Alex/Yassen sex (pouts)

Author's Response: I'm so sorry about the m/m warning! That was a mistake - I copied the header from another chapter and forgot to take it off. I feel so bad for getting everyone's hopes up like that ;-( I have an account on fanfiction but I don't post there - my fics are too explicit I think. I promise there'll be a sequel. I purposely wrote the epilogue to lead into it. I expect I won't get to it until summer though. Thanks so much for being such a faithful reader and leaving me such nice comments too.

OMG WOMAN THAT IS NOT AN ENDING, that is a beginning! I loved how this played out -- Yassen losing control of the situation like he did really set up each character to come into their own. I love that Nile can beat Alex so easily; it's like canon shoved that down out throats and it stays with us, through every fanon encounter

Author's Response: I'm taking lessons from you...I need a name for my arc now ;-) I expect I won't start on the sequel til summertime. Too many other story obligations right now (Flash Rider should be up soon tho). Plus, I know nothing about Russia - I have lots of research to do!

Author's Response: I've had a sequel in mind from the beginning, but it's not plotted out much. I really don't know when I'd get to it...probably not until the summer.

Author's Response: That wasn't pointed at you ;-) that was pointed at AH (but now that you mention it, I guess you fit the bill too). I refuse to accept that Yassen is dead. I can't wait for Abyss...I want Australian sex with Alex!

Author's Response: I think I only have one fic w/o any hairpulling ;-) one of my favorite kinks. In canon we never know who plants the bomb on John Rider's plane so I thought this worked well in my story. And unlike some writers, I'd never kill off my main characters...so not really too much of a cliffhanger other than to find out what happens to save everyone.

Maybe I'll wait to read both 10 and 11 together *GLEEEEE*! ... and maybe I should comment on LJ if I'm going to be holding a conversation! :-)

Ooooh I thought he'd have to rough up Alex a little, you know, to make it look more genuine :D -- brilliant chapter. Very exciting and omg that's a pretty mean cliffhanger at the end there. Alex was wonderful all the way through ... When is the next chapter?

Author's Response: I probably should have had Yassen give him a slap or two, at least a split lip, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it...more of Yassen's thoughts on it in part 10... Heck, you think this is a bad cliffhanger, wait until 10! I don't have the final chapter fully written yet, although I know what's going to happen, and I don't want to post 10 until I have 11 completed because it's such a horrible cliffie. The plan is for the week after Christmas, hopefully, so everything will be wrapped up by New Year's.

oooh...tension is rising, I can tell the main event is going to happen soon! Will it all go to plan? Does Yassen really have another ulterior motive? Cant wait for the next chapter to find out!

Author's Response: I hope to get chapter 10 up between Christmas and New Year, and chapter 11 soon after that. I want it all posted by New Year, but like Yassen finds out, not everything goes to plan ;-)
