This is fantastic! I haven't read anything that's even come close to this sort of perspective on Yassen's death, and the idea that he would will his wealth and possessions to Alex was a delightfully unexpected twist. I think I literally said "Woah!" when I read that part. Totally caught me off guard, and I LOVE IT when stories do that. Excellent work--top notch!

It occurred to me off hand, and then I kept thinking about it, and eventually I had to write it down and share with the world (or at least the part of it that is the 20 or so people in this fandom).
